The opening of this 18,000 square-foot, world-class extreme sports facility is the culmination of a journey that began more than 30 years ago when Ms. Shultz first experienced the exhilaration of climbing above cloud level in the Grand Tetons.
Since that time, her husband, Kiriakos; her two children, Alex & Elena; and she have been climbing peaks around the world.
Owner/designer, Shultz, is committed to creating a space for adventure that is both beautifully designed and exciting for users and nonusers:
“My vision is to create a welcoming environment for people of all ages and athletic abilities—from world class athletes to week-end warriors.I am particularly excited by the opportunity that High Exposure will provide for young people, from pre-school through high school, to discover the power that they have within themselves to reach for a goal and get there. It is inspiring to witness the courage and confidence that people of all ages develop as they progress in these sports.”
Ms. Shultz first conceived of opening High Exposure 15 years ago, and has been working steadily to make her dream a reality ever since.
As she puts it:
"Climbing has been an integral part of my life for so many years. It is a thrill to open these doors and be able to share my passion for this sport with my family, friends and community."
"Since opening in June of 2015, We have been able to service 90,000 people and enrich lives through our various programs for children and adults."
